CHURCH IN THE PARK
Join us for a special Church in the Park this Sunday, October 12th at 10:30 AM at the Shannon Springs Amphitheatre! We’ll gather with Parkview Christian Church for an outdoor worship service filled with praise and community. After worship, stay for a meal together—a great chance to connect and share fellowship. Bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs for this beautiful day of worship and unity!

A Word About Sermons
Preaching is a strange thing when you think about it. Week after week, people gather to listen to someone speak for 30–40 minutes. Odd—until you realize what’s happening. From the very beginning, God’s Word was spoken, then written down, and then spoken again so that it could be proclaimed. Preaching is not a human invention. It is God’s chosen way to carry His Word into our hearts. Through this Word, the Spirit stirs us, comforts us, convicts us, and calls us to Christ. That movement of the Spirit in you is no small thing. It is God’s work, a work only he can do, which is, by definition, a MIRACLE!
Yes, a preacher takes great care to study deeply and prayerfully craft the best sermon they can, but the credit for a sermon’s impact never belongs to the preacher. If you walk away changed, it is not because of eloquence, but because God himself addressed you. That elevates your position in it. If God’s Spirit moves you, that sermon had your name on it, even if the preacher was ignorant of it. Only God can do that, and does do that.
So in every sermon, ask: “Lord, what word do you have for me today?” And then listen with a heart ready to receive. Today might have another miracle.

An audition is required, and we’re praying for the right person to step in and serve. Join us every Sunday at 10:00 AM for a powerful time of prayer before the service. We lift up the church, our volunteers, those attending, and many other needs as we seek God together. NLCC MISSIONS
In Matthew 28:16-20, Jesus commands His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them in His name, affirming His authority and promising His presence. Acts 1:8 builds on this by revealing how they will accomplish this mission—through the power of the Holy Spirit—beginning in Jerusalem (our local mission field), Judea and Samaria (our area mission field), and extending to the ends of the earth (our global mission field). Listed below you’ll find the various organizations/people that New Life supports in an effort to fulfill the command that Jesus delivered to us in the above scriptures.
